Meme

I feel like doing this meme (don't ask me what a meme is.. I just plucked the word from other blogs, though I know what you do with it.. I just dunno how to explain WHAT it is)

But then, I don't have time now.

Then I stumbled upon this, singaporean bloggers compiled.

Damn I feel like doing one.

English Teacher In Japan's Blog

Found this in shaolintiger's blog.

Freaking hilarious. Made me desert my chemistry for quite some time.

I'm actually still halfway reading.

Gosh, that just brought Laugh Out Loud (LOL) to a whole new level.

Men are vain, vain, VAIN!

My brother just changed three outfits, STILL isn't satisfied, and wants to change SUMMORE.

"12.30 d.. wear so nice for what?"

"Need to meet people ma." This is kinda associated with business, though probably not really in that context.

*brother models next outfit*

*xiao shakes head*

"Haih, no matching clothes," sighed xiao's brother. *scrambles out to dig through his luggage trunk for another shirt/pair of pants*

Finally, he settled with a simple dark blue Burberry t-shirt (ironic, I don't even have a Burberry anything and he has at least three shirts) and a pair of cream-coloured pants.

.. which in my opinion made him look skinnier than before..

And you men complain we girls take forever to change. My brother has the ability to take baths longer than me (his hair is at least 30 cms shorter than me le!! How long does he need to wash it!?) stand in front of the mirror scrutinizing himself longer than me, and choose clothes in a manner that is WAY fussier than me.

And he's a straight guy.

So, you see, guys are actually vainer than girls.

Don't believe me? Go to the nearest guy you know that uses something called gel, and touch his hair.

Heh.

Semi-hiatus

I know this would be more or less blog career suicide, as I'm a (relatively) new blogger and had only gained like average 30 unique visits per day...

But I'll have to go on semi-hiatus till the end of October.

Most of those from the SMKSU blogosphere has to. Exams la yoh.

So I'll try very hard to ignore the calls of my computer and various other unimportant things like writing stories (which i hardly do anyway), go on MSN, putter around forums, blah blah and blah.

I'm trying to cut off all my 'fun' things to do so that I'll have to (eventually) study.

Though I have to blog about Han's not-so-surprising surprise party when I have time. Preferably tomorrow (since the bloody USB port is missing AGAIN and my sis took the one I found because i 'lost' hers last time. Which wasn't really my fault since my maid loves to put things away)

(I'm a whiny little brat. Sue me)

Hrm. Till then, I hope my readers won't forget me? =)

Yawn

I spent like 7 hours in the library today! *gasps*

Then again, 7 hours was crap because :

a) Library too cold
b) Han found Mun Mun
c) Still too cold
d) Guo Joon exists
e) I just didn't wanna study

Now, we all know a) b) c) and d) and just excuses on my part. I just wanted something else to blame since I spent largely 5+ hours in the library reading 14 pages of History and doing my english tuition homework.

So, me and Han arrived at the library at 10 in the morning. I was expecting a full floor and was ready to head on upstairs to find seats because SOMEONE told me ALOT OF PEOPLE will be going to the library SINCE SPM AND PMR is nearing...

Apparently, the SOMEONE wasn't all that right!

We were greeted by two receptionists that seemed to love to stare at the people who go in. Then, *blank*

Only one table was occupied.

...dots...

Ah well, by the end of the day my friends and I took up more or less, that whole section. Three out of three big tables were taken by us, and several of them went to the individual box thingies.

Anyway, skip the boring part. Refer to b) Han found Mun Mun.

Mun Mun is a friend of Ee Teng. Both in SMKSJ's basketball team.

Girls + Basketball Team = Instant Han's Liking

Duh, rabid basketballers.

Anyway, Ee Teng asked Han to accompany Mun Mun since she was alone till... Ee teng reaches the library. And so, he complied without much complaints.

*cough*

They hit off quite well, actually. For someone he just met today, they were talking about anything and everything in the world. Ranging from who's what from which basketball team of what school? to how GUYS ARE NOT TRUSTABLE.

Not bad.

And to skip the boring part again.

Blah, too many boring parts. Mind blank!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SATURDAY! *sings the bbq song* bbq~ bbq~

xD!

Oh, Nicholas, school is VERY private. Mm hmm! Not public at all, nope. Not public at all...

Mummy?

My mum is in a good mood.

I'll describe the things that happened, in order of events.

Event 1

I came home from tuition and there she was relaxing on the massage chair.

"Mom, i found transport to Han's house on Saturday!!!"

"GOOD la!"

"But erm, transport home...."

"I think I'll ask Joachim to fetch you or something...."

"But I'm going back late!! This kinda thing where can come home early one?"

"Then ah, sleepover lo"

*pause* Normally, I wouldn't even dream of bringing it up with her. Ironically I WAS going to bring the sleepover-at-han's-house topic up, because Evonne might have transport problems back, and I think she has to sleep there too. And NO way i'm leaving her alone with that bunch of animals.

Yes, bunch of animals!

ANIMALS!

*unpause*

"Er.. okay? Anyway, Evonne also might have to sleep there la, cannot let her sleep alone."

"Of course not! Does he have rooms?"

sister cuts in. "He has a sister also ma. Can la can la."

And I guess that's settled.

Event 2

She let me skip dinner! I'm happy ^^

Event 3

Halfway through soup (ABC soup, i think it's called) She asked me if I wanted to go to Langkawi for two days next week.

"Got school la"

"Ponteng laaaaa!!"

Since when mothers ask you to play hooky?

But I don't think I'm going. An idea of a relaxing trip to Langkawi isn't with my elder bro and my baby sis.

Still, she asked me to skip school!!!

Event 4

She gave me 20 bucks that was supposed to be returned to her, I handed it to her and she said :

"Ah, you take la!" *puts 20 bucks back on my hand*

"Er? Cool" says xiao, bewildered, leaving the room 20 bucks richer.

Lol.

We only gave her an iSqueez for her birthday tomorrow...

MacBeth

Macbeth in KL performing Arts Centre, the very same place I went to watch Jalan Impian.

A big sorry to the Macbeth cast. They were using archaic english, and although thees, thous, foreasmuchs, and stuff I can handle, the heavily accented British slang, I cannot.

We all got the gist of the story, though. It's a little sad they didn't get a standing ovation.. but I guess teenagers like us wouldn't be SO interested in such a story, particularly when we couldn't understand a thing.

That aside, I'm sure you can read about it in other blogs. So let the camwhoring begin.

And although the cam belongs to me, kinda, I didn't really get THAT many pics of myself. Hmm ^^

Nicholas and Han deciding to take a picture of each other taking a picture of each other together.

Kit : Yes.....................?

Xiao : AHHHH YOU LOOK SO CUTEEEE! *pinches*

Lesson. Do not sleep in a bus while sitting beside Xiao with a camera in her hand.

Lesson 2. Never try to take picture in a heavily wobbling bus. It does things to you.

Xiao : picture! NOW!

Kit : *does big goo-goo eyed face*

Xiao : *melts*

The right side of the bus (we were at the very back of the bus. Remind me to never again sit on a bus's ass)

Before.

After. We got bunnies!

Han wanted to know how his hair looked like. So..

I still think it looks like wild grass xD

Mmm. My other right view ^^

The first version was nicer. Unfortunately THEY WERE MOVING WHILE I TOOK THAT PIC. So there's the two out of three black musketeers (Eh, Han, why didn't we go whack someone up again?) sticking out their tongue at me. And SINCE sticking out your tongue is a form of sexual harrassment.......

Prepare to get a call from my lawyer, dudes.

Outer view. Bus going away. Noo, don't leave us!!

Random pic. Nice place.

Our very own pink Jade. You're supposed to be green...

Hikari~

Wei Shiung : Don't take my pic, I really don't wanna see my pic, please xiao please xiao, please please pLEASEEEEEEE!

Xiao : Ah anything la, I'll take a pic of you anyway.

There was Version 1 of this pic as well. Which looked a great deal better... but SOMEONE HAD TO MOVE WHEN I TOOK THAT PIC!!!

...

Love the wire concept. Not too comfortable to sit on, though.

Guo Joon : Xiao, don't ar...

Xiao : Hahah!

Xiao : Nicholas!

Nicholas : *turns around* *instant peace sign*

Yet when I took a second one...

Nicholas : No, xiao.. At least let me pose or something la.

Ever heard of candids grandpa?!

Mmm ^^

Sometimes I wonder why I haven't chopped off his head and keep it around my room so I can pinch his cheeks anytime. JIN KIT'S SO CUTE!!! *melts again*

Look CLOSELY at his face. He was trying to stifle his laughter. Trying VERY hard...

Yengness : 3/10

Erm?

Let's see. l-r : Lee xin, Li Xian, Evonne, Jessica. I have... Evonne's number. *grins*

I wonder if I took any of the pics without my eyes resembling this --> ^^, or maybe even this --> -.-

Haha. One of the many weird pics that includes Vonne and Han doing weird stuff...

Evonne : HAN! Let's take a picture of us jelinging the cameraaaaaa.

Han : Okay okay, how jeling ar?

Evonne : Jeling only laaaa.

Han : *jelings*

Yengness : 5/10

Xiao : *whispers something in Han's ear*

Han : AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH...

Getting a little bit lazy to post extra comments~~~

Nicholas : Sigh. Why's life so hard...

He just looks absolutely adorable in this picture. YOU LOOK LIKE JOHN HEREEEEE!!! Gosh, 4 years younger.

.. And everytime a picture of us was taken, it looks like a family picture.

Xiao : You and you! Take picture!

Hikari : Ah, come come. *grabs Han by the neck*

Han : Hoi, apasal la?!

Hi, Daddy.

Jessica.

When enlarged, possibly one of the best pics in my camera today.

When not.. I don't like it T_T

Trying to be sexy?

Guo Joon : Don't worry! I'll help you!

Candidates of the next Yaoi anime... Tsk tsk.

Guo Joon : Don't take!

Xiao : *snap*

Evonne : What pose what pose?

Han : What what pose?

Evonne : Aiyoh, what pose to pose la!!

Han: How 'bout looking there?

And they did just that ^^

Mmm. I LIKE YOUR TOP! Where did you get it T_T

Wei Shiung scratches head. Aww.

Evonne : Hmph. I'm taller than you, Nicholas!

The rest of the world : Yah, dream on Vonne..

The beauty of this two pictures can only be seen when in original size. Unfortunately, for all of you, YOU CAN'T SEE IT! MUAHAHAHAHAH!

I feel evil. Then again, this is one of possibly the best candid shots ever =)

Chern Hwei (read Zhern Uei)

Luckily I'm all over naming out the people in the pictures. I'll have a heck of a time naming this mess.. Phew oO

Fall nicholas FALL! FALL into the dark murky waters below!!

Told you. Haha.

One of the only normal pictures (if you consider this normal -.-) with/of Han.

The Gamma-ians were jealous that we Omega-ians had a class pic. (the one where all of us were on tiles) So they decided to have one as well.

That's it. He's just weird.

Should have made everyone cross their legs girly style.

Note : I'm the only one in heels ><

Erm. Braces...?

The only moderately-okay picture of me and Guo Joon. *is not satisfied*

Han : Water! WATER! minee.. ALL MINE!! *jumps*

Bunch of black clothed guys acting like they've never seen water before.

So excited, they wanted to play with it in new exotic ways.

Their obscure reasoning always seem to escape me.

Interesting. Didn't know a man can take such a great piss.

Han : Oi! People doing private business la!

Under the stairs. Bad pic of myself, but what the heck.

We look like workers, just hanging around after work, chilling and stuff.

Somehow...

Evonne's got a fetish with trees. That wasn't the first tree she harrassed. Certainly not the last.

And HAH! Your no-touching-my-hair policy is SO totally gone xD

Finally done! Got a headache already.. Other pics visit Luzzio's blog. Don't wanna elaborate anymore!

The remnants of 6C

The past few posts were a tad bit gloomy, so I decided to freshen the place up with a couple of pictures from an outing with some of my oldest friends ever.

*Imagines self with a bunch of white haired people sitting in some mamak*

Heh. Oldest friends.

Aiyoh, I feel so old already la. All the studies, the work, the monitor duties, the pressure... Beginning to show on my face le, i look so OLD!

"Xiao...... what you doing...?"

*snaps* "Taking your pic la doink"

"WHAT?!!?"

"Eh, eh, eh, don't take my pic ar!!"

"Too late =P"

Since he's the star of the day, coming back from Singapore for one week and ONLY TELLING HAN AND NOT ALL OF USSSSSSSSS... Pif... I was urged to take more pictures of this dai kor older than all of us. Now isn't he all posey and cute? I have his number! Do not hesitate to ask for it!

I'm not sure what kinda expression, or what he was trying to say when I snapped the picture. It makes him look... er... *runs away*

"Hoi, stop taking pics la!"

"Too late again~~"

"Pweaseeee, don't take my picture pweaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

"Nicholas just one picture, pweaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!"

"Nooooooo!! *hides behind hands*

I got your picture anyway. And it would be much better if you actually SHOWED your face.

Unawares, Desiree - while smiling impishly - got her picture taken by me. Wakakakaka!

I love posting funny photos of Han Wei. It makes me laugh... and laugh... and OOOH I got a picture of him and his butt. Want it? *Grins*

Erk. Two over 180cm guys trying to act cute. I wasn't sure whether to puke or laugh.

I'm settling with laughter. They're just tooooo adorably hilarious. HAHA!

And the last pic of that day. This is the only pic with me in it. Come back more often Shan Chin, Malaysia's not the same without you, and your coming-back-for-one-week's are the times we decide we need an outing. Besides...

Malaysia Food is the best la. They miss you too!

Man and Boy, and friends of course

I'm sad everytime I finish a particularly good book.

Why?

Well, because throughout the course of the book, I can be so immersed in the author's world that I can even begin to lose myself. It's as if, when I read the book, I live in that world. So, when I finish a particular book, it's like I snapped out of fantasy and was rudely pushed back into reality.

This book wasn't a happy one, nor funny one, nor a Da Vinci code equivalent. It was an honest, open book about a man, his divorce, and his son.

I knew I would fall in love with the book as soon as I flipped past the third page. This was, and still is, how I tell which book is good and whatnot. If it grips me in the beginning, it'll most certainly keep me till the end. I'm sorry, but the first few pages of a 500-page book are the most crucial to me. Even if the last 490 pages of the book will blow everyone off, if your starting isn't good enough...

I digress a lot. I'm already beginning to lose my point.

I loved that book. It was filled with the thoughts of that one man. Loving his wife, loving his mother, loving his father, the woman that was with him after his divorce, her daughter, and most importantly, his son. And I say it again, it's honest, it's truthful, and it touches the very depths of your soul.

That or i'm an extremely sensitive female.

It's Tony Parsons' Man and Boy. A proud winner of the British Book Awards for Book of the Year. (not sure which year..)

THANK you, Wei shiung, for lending it to me. I shall lend you all my furuba CDs tomorrow. ALL THE ORIGINAL ONES I HAVE! Mind you. So don't kill it.

Oh, and pass me the second book.

I was gonna go on about how down I felt for the past few days.

Then, I thought about all the friends I have that care so much about me.

Han Wei, for always putting up with my tempers and tantrums, even quietly accepting abuse when I'm over the top. The Form 4 Year would literally be hell without you. I can't believe it's already September.

Andrew, who tries everytime he spots me in a black face, to cheer me up, and ask me what's wrong, asking me to share my problems from top to toe. And never failing to bestow upon me the trust he offered two years ago, when I was feeling the most vulnerable, the most unaccepted. He gave me his trust, only asking for mine in return. That helped a lot, Drew, I'm sure I've never told you that, nor have I thanked you. It was always you thanking me. So, thank you, my friend.

Nicholas, what can I say? You try to help me all the time, though time have did such cruel things on our friendship. At least I know I can always go to you for that heart to heart talk not many people can handle. Not with a person like me.

Evonne, having you in class is great. I'm sure it wouldn't be the same, without a trusty Origin to share my secrets with. Guys are nice, of course, but a girl always need a girlfriend to talk to.

I'm getting emotional. Everyone start sobbing! NOW!

Jin Kit, you try to cheer me up when I'm down, too. And I'm sorry, too, for a lot of stuff.

Haha...

And Guo Joon, thanks for putting up with my childish manner for the past couple of months. It is not a secret that I'm very difficult when I want to be, especially when I maneuver you into topics you do not wish to discuss, even hurt you when I'm feeling vicious. Unintentionally, of course. You've helped a lot for the past few weeks. At least now I have the comfort of knowing that I do have someone to turn to and cry to, if I really want to, at any time and anywhere. Without making a complete fool out of myself, of course. A lot of things I have to say, yet I think it'll scare you, (or everyone -.-") if I say what I think all here. Thank you, too, and I love you very much.

Same goes to Han, Drew, Nick, Vonne and Kit. Love you ALL!

- Writer feeling extremely emotional and probably wouldn't have written that out in her public blog if she was thinking coherently. She means all of it though, and hope those that were mentioned loves her too.

No, I'm not sad
and though i say nothing
I want to talk.
I'm waiting for you to smile
Then I'll smile too
and we can begin.
Are you like me?
Does it go on for ever
Waiting to smile?
